This year marked Novartis' 5th annual Day of Reflection, themed "Health Equity: Compassion, Purpose & Advocacy into Action.” In line with our commitment to improving patients' lives, we heard from people representing many community voices and explored patient population issues in partnership with BlackDoctor.org, emphasizing holistic healthcare for all. Our associates engaged with a diverse range of expert healthcare advocates including our keynote speaker, Stephen Trzeciak, MD, a practicing specialist, clinical researcher, and author of “Compassionomics,” Novartis leaders and patients who are using their experiences to advocate for change. These important conversations lead to ways that we apply our learnings in the work we do each day. It is so incredibly important to continue to amplify the voices of all communities in our journey to reimagine medicine.
