Episode No: 5: ESG as the Ultimate Silo Buster. Please join Michael Baxter - The ESG Show, Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief at Techopian and Special Guests Natalie Runyon, an ESG Strategist for the Legal sector Josh Jacobson, Founder and CEO of Next Stage Jonathan Ha, Founder and CEO of Seneca ESG ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, is a framework that evaluates the sustainability and ethical impact of a company or organization. This concept is gaining momentum as businesses and investors recognize the need for responsible and sustainable practices that go beyond mere financial performance. ESG is a holistic approach that considers the long-term impacts of business operations on the environment, society, and corporate governance structures. The term “silo” essentially refers to Corporate or Company Groupthink. In a business setting, groupthink can cause employees and supervisors to overlook potential problems in the pursuit of consensus thinking. Because individual critical thinking is de-emphasized or frowned upon, employees may self-censor and not suggest alternatives for fear of upsetting the status quo. https://lnkd.in/g6jhWzDr
