It is known by now that we are using #quantum and #AI to solve the hard #geospatial problems concerning the #complexsystems that we have today. Hard only because we lack a systems-level perspective to make our choices easy. This is what we are working to fix with #QGO, described in the video below. Perhaps less known is that our goal, as a #naturetech and #optimization company, is nothing short of enabling a collective effort to rebase our global economy onto a foundation of healthy nature. To achieve the #sustainability, #security, and #resilience everyone needs. By digitally enabling #ecosystemrestoration at the bottom, mapping the efficiencies, cost savings, and avoided bottlenecks for customers at the top, and making sure to close the loop so future savings will appear on our platform as they are implemented on the ground. When forest #restoration efforts take place and #ecological benefits from these and many other sources start coming online, our model will be updated as new data come in. So new opportunities and alerts can go out. We work because our #earth, whether as an #organism or as a global market, does not need clogged arteries waiting for #supplychain disasters to happen. That are avoidable if customers had visibility into where they fit into #supplywebs today. Because we also see that #business can be done in a way that helps both our Earth and our economy to be at the epitome of health, because one will rest on the other. We see that clouds of birds in our skies and untold fish in our oceans can and must form the foundation of an eco-integrated civilization based on smart and efficient technologies. 🏆 We excitedly announced that SI Analytics got first prize at the 1st #GeoNet Challenge workshop held during #ICCV 2023. GeoNet Challenge is the first workshop on domain adaptation and robust learning across geographies in computer vision. This workshop aims to unite researchers from across the vision community to foster discussions on the spectrum of challenges posed by geographic bias toward fair and inclusive computer vision. SI Analytics has received the 1st prize in the GeoPlaces track of the GeoNet challenge and 2nd place in the GeoImnet track of the challenge! The critical factor that led us to achieve excellent results was automation solutions that reduced noise and increased prediction rates by applying domain adaptation algorithms for weather climate prediction. ✨ Congrats to all the research scientists who achieved this challenge! #Channel #charting (#CC) consists in learning a #mapping between the #space of #raw #channel observations, made available from pilot-based channel estimation in multicarrier multiantenna system, and a low-dimensional space where close points correspond to channels of #user #equipments (#UEs) close spatially. Among the different methods of learning this mapping, some rely on a distance measure between channel vectors. Such a distance should reliably reflect the local spatial neighborhoods of the UEs. The recently proposed #phase-#insensitive (#PI) #distance exhibits good properties in this regards, but suffers from ambiguities due to both its periodic and oscillatory aspects, making users far away from each other appear closer in some cases. This paper provides a thorough #theoretical #analysis of the #said #distance and its #limitations due to ambiguities is provided. Consequently, a new channel distance especially designed to remove ambiguities is proposed. 3-4 years ago we run fundamental research on geometric information embedding into spatial MIMO processing. That time nobody discuss that in wireless community, yeas there were some topological properties discussion, but nobody look for persistence diagram usage in wireless to identify topological properties and transform them into features. We did a lot of observation here, but didn't find a way to transform this observations into system performance. And nobody was ready to discuss this topic... And ops, unexpected talk from Medhi on #6Gsummitabudhabi ! Sure it is not about channel and MIMO, but about cohomology usage in "semantics", nice to see and maybe time to restart ...
