I help sports clubs to succeed with customised sports tours in Spain | Unique experiences that combine competition and culture.
My method for organising a youth football tour in less than a week: (Steal this without fear and tell me about it). Define the clear objective of the tour: focus on competition, training, culture? Use of predefined templates for logistics. Accommodation, transport, food. Direct contact with key partners. Camps, hotels, and local services with which I have previous agreements. Plan B always ready. Alternatives for any unforeseen event already pre-established. Saving time does not mean lowering quality. It means being efficient and prepared. With these steps, not only do I save time, but I ensure a memorable experience for everyone. What do you think, do you dare to try it?

I really enjoyed working on this document. 🖥 Researching different #withoutwaste initiatives, understanding the differences between the Balkans and Scandinavian countries when it comes to sustainable sport events, and checking my home country Turkey's current policies on waste management has been a good learning process. 🖊 In this document, you will find inspiring examples from the Balkan region, Oslo, Copenhagen, and even Japan. Do not think that they wouldn't work in your city. 💡 You never know where inspiration is hiding, and it is helpful to share well-functioning and sustainable good practices when contacting local authorities and stakeholders around your town. #sportwithoutwaste - BGBA ISCA - International Sport and Culture Association
Hot of the press 🔛 The newest 🎯 Sport #WithoutWaste resource, intended to inspire local authorities, municipalities, local communities and grassroots sport organisations and facilitate the efforts to create sustainable events. ♻ The recommendations aim to help communities get started. We know that it’s unrealistic to go all the way from day one, but every step counts and hopefully the recommendations provided will make it easier to prioritise. Check the document and let us what you think! Shared Passion: Engaging in sports with colleagues who share a passion for the game creates common ground for meaningful conversations. Whether you're discussing strategy during a match or sharing post-game anecdotes, these interactions lay the foundation for lasting professional relationships. 3. Collaborative Spirit: Team sports teach us the importance of collaboration and teamwork. Translating these lessons into the workplace, networking at sports events can lead to collaborative opportunities and innovative solutions when faced with challenges in our respective roles. 4. Memorable Impressions: Networking is not just about exchanging business cards; it's about leaving a lasting impression. Participating in sports alongside colleagues allows you to showcase your teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship qualities, leaving a positive impression that extends beyond the playing field. Lessons from the Non-League. How do you transform a football club off the field in just 18 months? Club Director Harry Hugo is making big changes at Farnham Town Football Club. "It's a business, rather than just a football club... we are trying to build an entertainment brand that plays football twice a week." 🏟️ Infrastructure changes, such as the position of the filming gantry, the orientation of stands and viewing areas and additional supporter-focused amenities such as the Mystery Kitchen. 💵 Incremental fan spending targets on merchandise, food and drinks help to increase the revenues needed to make a sustainable football club. 🖥️ Placing high importance on social media to drive whole week-long engagement and interest.
