That's the kind of enthusiasm we're seeing each week with ONA's AI in Journalism Initiative. As of today, 1,072 people have signed up for practical training, play sessions and collaborative meetups. We're continuing to roll out new offerings in response to what we're hearing from attendees and other newsroom leaders about what's most needed. These sessions will offer many examples and tips for using image creation tools, and cover considerations around ethics, misinformation, copyright, transparency and more. The series kicks off 🗓 THURSDAY, MAY 30, with a framing discussion moderated by Rubina Fillion and featuring insights from Tony Elkins (Poynter), Alicia Calzada (National Press Photographers Association) and Sandra Stevenson (The Washington Post).
