Two years ago, Orestone enhanced our team by acquiring Sam Burton Electrical (SBE), welcoming Sam Burton, his team, and their expertise. As SBE's founder, Sam quickly took a key role within Orestone, leading our engineering and operations to greater success with his client-focused and strategic approach. We are excited to announce that Sam has now been appointed as our new Managing Director. Celebrating this significant transition, our CEO, Warren Potter Msyl, will be stepping into a new role as Chairman. This strategic move is designed to further strengthen our leadership structure and ensure continued growth and success for Orestone. Sam shared some words on this occasion, “I am very excited to step into the role as Managing Director of Orestone, our journey so far has been remarkable, growing from a modest start to the thriving enterprise we are today. Reducing our carbon footprint isn't just a goal, it’s a necessity. We recently conducted detailed load tests on our PRIMX floor, with impressive results: 🔹 Slab thickness: 130mm 🔹 Designed SLS load: 80kN per leg 🔹 Designed ULS load: up to 120kN per leg 🔹 TR34 4th edition limits for traditional SFRC slabs: 80kN Our findings were remarkable: 1)SLS limit reached 150kN per leg on a 130mm slab. 2)Observed cracks were minimal, with a maximum width of 0.2mm.The deflection was only 1.5mm. These results highlight the superior performance and durability of PRIMX floors. Seeing the finished PRIMX floors after completion is truly inspiring. They’re not only durable and efficient but also a symbol of our dedication to sustainability and innovation. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Xerxes' newest manufacturing facility in #Blythewood, South Carolina! On August 27th, we celebrated this incredible milestone alongside the local community, with a special thank you to Jeff Ruble, Director of the Richland County Economic Development Office for helping introduce Xerxes to the capital county. This is an exciting new chapter in our journey, expanding Xerxes’ capabilities as we continue to manufacture industry-leading fiberglass underground storage tanks. #Xerxes and #Flexpipe, both part of Mattr’s Composite Technologies segment, have launched new facilities this summer, marking a significant accoplishment. Martin N. Perez, Group President of Mattr’s Composite Technologies, shared: “I am pleased by our teams’ ability to execute these major growth capital programs on time and on budget, all while continuing to meet existing production commitments. These new facilities will enable us to keep up with the growing demand for our products and to serve our customers even more efficiently." In addition to the new facility in Blythewood, we’ve made significant investments in modernization, expansion, and optimization across the Composite Technologies segment. These include a fully automated #stormwater chamber production line at our #Rockwall, Texas facility, expanded production capacity at our Edmonton site, and the modernization of our Xerxes facility in Seguin, #Texas.
