Sometimes you meet ‘all’ the requirements for the position AS PUBLICLY LISTED in the job advert BUT there are things which are politically inappropriate for the potential employer to list as requirements: race, gender, age, sometimes even particular sector experience such as government or insurance or NGO or banking, etc. Most recruiters will deny this but it happens that the company specifies what they don’t want and it cannot be put in the public advert. This’s probably an uncomfortable truth but you must know that sometimes there’s nothing wrong with your CV. #Resume #CcNiliswe

Recruiters, STOP asking jobseekers - Update the resume - Reference letter - Fill up the form - Salary proof - Cover letter In the end, all they received from you is "GHOSTING". Show jobseekers respect. It's a two-way street. It's not just about finding the 'perfect' candidate for the job. It's about creating a human-centric experience in the process. Think about it. Would you appreciate a 'ghosting' experience in your personal life? Probably not. In the same way, jobseekers desire acknowledgement, even if it's just a 'we've moved forward with other candidates' notification. It's about treating people with dignity and respect. So let's change the narrative. Let's be transparent and considerate. It's better for the jobseeker, and it's better for your organization's reputation. Staffing agencies, take note! Job seekers put their trust in you to find them a job, not to build your applicant pool. It's disheartening when you receive a call that promises a job, only to find out it was just a ploy to add to the applicant pool. This not only wastes our time but also gives us false hope.
