Commonly, there are multiple main religions in some countries (for example Malaysia) and in other side, a certain religion dominates in some countries (for example Indonesia and India). Interesting to examine the peer effects on religious faithfulness, because such taboos/haram, especially for foods (the most understandable, and people face it daily). That's why halal certification plays a vital role in distinguishing halal products.

Mufti Tariq Masood's statement emphasizes the ethical responsibility tied to content creation, particularly on platforms like YouTube. He explains that if a person is sharing permissible (jaiz) content—something that aligns with Islamic values and morality—then the earnings generated from such content are also considered lawful (halal). Conversely, if a person is sharing impermissible (najaiz) content that violates Islamic principles, such as promoting inappropriate behavior or spreading harmful material, the income earned from it would be deemed unlawful (haram). This highlights the importance of aligning one’s work and income sources with ethical and religious guidelines to ensure that both the actions and the earnings are morally and religiously acceptable. #muftitariqmasood #controversy

Building Bridges Not Walls, International Leader, Public Speaker, Positive Work Culture Advocate, DEI Leader
Ramadan Mubarak It's beautiful to see so many wishing their staff members Ramadan Mubarak And have you included... Being flexible with time when necessary? Providing prayer areas (not dark closets or rooms that are storage facilities) that are set aside for staff/students to use? Organizations should model airports in creating intereligious prayer/quiet/meditation spaces. It's interesting to believe that the only time Muslims pray during work time is during Ramadan (or anyone else who follows a religion that prays and has important religious periods). Folks pray all the time. Providing interreligious quiet/meditation rooms support well-being. I digress.... If you're a school, do you have resources for teachers to understand the patience and accommodations necessary for students? Are there areas where the students can power nap during lunch time if necessary? What about staff? Are they shunned? Have you asked your fasting staff if they have any particular needs that you may have overlooked? Only wishing Ramadan Mubarak or Kareem is performative. Not acknowledging religious events that may have impact is performative. Making adjustments and accommodations for those in your community during religious times is actually being inclusive. #ReligiousInclusion #Inclusion #equity

Going by the constitution we are a secular nation however we do have a personal law for a certain community which contradicts the term 'secular ' and promotes inequality. Personal law for any community is exclusivity by itself. Is it not fair that all citizens having the right to vote needs to be inclusive or secular ? If we need everyone to be secular can we not introduce the term 'secular' on Aadhar or passport regardless of which ever religion they may follow ? If not can we dilute the word 'secular' on the basis of exclusivity ? Bharat is a land of 'Sanatan dharma' and and we are tolerant by nature however if a section of people have exclusive rights can we not term them as intolerant ? I hope every person in this world realizes that our own physical existence from birth is made up of five elements in nature and that's what Sanatanis believe. It's all about being natural in the natural cycle. The world needs to act responsibly maintaining the balance in nature to save the environment.

the best best reels for Instagram 😁 While on the surface, various religions may seem distinct, at their core, they often share fundamental principles of compassion and moral guidance. Many religions advocate for love, kindness, and understanding as central tenets, emphasizing the unity of humanity. While the rituals and doctrines may differ, the underlying message of promoting virtue and ethical behavior is a common thread among diverse belief systems. Recognizing the similarities can foster tolerance and respect for different faiths. Ultimately, the assertion that "all religions are the same" highlights the shared values that contribute to the moral fabric of human societies. https://lnkd.in/dNSYbRud

Why are there boundaries? Everyone’s been talking about the wedding of the century—the beautiful union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. It seems like no one has ever loved another the way these two do, and the celebrations have been truly endless. With millions spent and international celebrities from all over the world experiencing the warmth of Indian hospitality, it’s been a grand affair. But amidst all this excitement, I want to take a moment to reflect on Neeta Ambani’s speech at the Kanyadaan ceremony. Her measured tones and flawless delivery, spanning six and a half minutes, created a bridge between cultures, races, and ethnicities, touching the hearts of everyone present, including many international guests. But towards the end, Neeta Ambani spoke for almost a minute in beautiful Hindi— not the everyday spoken Hindi, but the kind found in exquisite literature. It was a moment that transcended language. Even if it had been in Gujarati, the profound message would have resonated. It was deeply felt by her because she is a daughter, a mother, a mother-in-law, and a grand mother! Bravo, Neeta Ambani, for speaking from the heart with such authenticity. In my workshops, I sometimes encounter people who look down on me if I use a stray Hindi sentence or reference a dialogue from a Hindi movie, even though I promptly translate it into English. Yet, these moments of cultural expression can feel isolating. Watching Neeta Ambani speak unapologetically in Hindi to a mix of national and international guests who are extremely refined, I have learnt the importance of embracing our differences, rather than hiding them. We don’t have to always fit in and pretend we are all alike just because we are in a corporate setup. Can we loosen up a bit and embrace diversity? Can we be open to listening to each other with the intent of learning something new? We might just walk away with a phrase, a song, or a proverb that helps us build bridges or find common ground with someone someday. Here’s to being universal and true to self at the same time! #EmbraceDiversity #CorporateCulture #Inclusivity #CulturalBridges #LearnFromEachOther #DiverseVoices #HeartfeltCommunication
