Biodiversity decline is one of the greatest challenges of our generation and threatened species are warning signs that our biodiversity is in trouble. Collaboration is critical to achieve the impact needed for conservation. Be part of the change and make a difference by partnering with #SavingourSpecies who are committed to preventing further extinction by securing our threatened species in the wild for the next 100 years. Start a conversation with us about conservation today and help protect our biodiversity for future generations: https://lnkd.in/g_uVQSeM

Biodiversity is in crisis. Of 8 million species listed on this world, 1 million are threatened with extinction in the coming years. This is a threat to both people and our planet. It’s our shared responsibility to take action #ForNature and protect our ecosystems. Join us in taking action for biodiversity conservation. Together, we can make a difference! https://lnkd.in/eqGm7iRk

The Congo and Amazon Basin are two of the world's most significant biodiversity hotspots. They are vastly rich in plant and animal species, many of which are found nowhere else on Earth. Preserving these forests means protecting countless rare and endangered species, contributing to global biodiversity conservation efforts.Losing these ecosystems would disrupt intricate ecological balance, harm food chains, and potentially lead to the extinction of many species, including undiscovered ones.

Africa rainforests are important centres of biodiversity than other rainforests Our forests need to be protected to safeguard both the huge number of species that live in them and the vast amounts of carbon they store. Today, we applaud Equitorial Guinea’s commitment to biodiversity protection and conservation, especially it’s critically endangered primates and nesting marine turtles through economically self-sustaining initiatives.

CFES #PartofThePlan International Day for Biodiversity 2024 We contribute to offsetting negative impacts on biodiversity due to development activities through Community Based Forest Conservation. The protection of pangolin habitat in the Durian Rambun Village Forest, under the Ecosystem Services Incentive Program to Support Community-based Forest Conservation, is a testament to CFES' role in biodiversity restoration. The International Day for Biodiversity campaign is the perfect opportunity to maintain momentum to protect and restore nature, prosper nature, share benefits equitably, and invest and collaborate for nature. CFES will continue to strive to not only maintain momentum, but also be #PartofThePlan for change. #BiodiversityDay #PartOfThePlan #ForNature UN Biodiversity
