Great panel yesterday. Talking about all of the issues and challenges surrounding upgrading the nations MDUs to provide to top tier service. To often they get left behind by the cable companies and incumbent providers. Good discussion on why FCC’s latest comments on bulk are completely off the mark. It’s clear that most owners and operators realize that bulk creates the needed investment to improve service and drive down rates for consumers. The biggest impact that would drive down rates is to requires cable companies to resell fiber circuits to other operators the same way telcos do. Especially if they are taking federal dollars for infrastructure expansion.

We need to ensure we band together to fight this injustice while educating the folks on the hill about what bulk billing does and how it serves the masses in a positive way. More to come! If you are currently building out in these states be sure your state #broadband office is aware of your projects and completion dates.
