Attention on Deck:   October 16 – Texas Service Center We are excited to share that SCOPS will be hosting four upcoming hiring fairs at our brick-and-mortar locations. These hiring fairs are an opportunity for individuals to learn more about the SCOPS and USCIS mission, meet with hiring managers, and discover how joining USCIS can be the start of a meaningful career. These hiring fairs are geared towards and intended for members of the public and individuals who do not currently work for USCIS. SCOPS will be targeting entry-level positions at these fairs, specifically Immigration Services Officers (Level 1) and Immigration Services Assistants (OA). We are sharing this information with our SCOPS workforce so that you may share it with those who may be interested in working with us.    We will host a career fair in the coming weeks. We have attached the career fair flyer with additional details and information on positions and registration. Also attached is a helpful “What to Expect at a USCIS Hiring Fair” fact sheet.    October 16 – Texas Service Center 🗓 That is all...

Attended the Altis Expo on April 24 in Toronto - my first in-person job fair! Learned about Altis Recruitment | Altis Technology and showcased my skills. Interviewed by Samantha Lee, who provided invaluable resume tips and job search guidance : • Don't forget to include a line for "Tools Used" below each job experience. This helps HR gauge your experience and how recently you've used each tool.  • Also, consider creating a separate section for certifications instead of blending them with skills. Highlight certificates that are in progress to showcase ongoing learning and skill development.
