Entrepreneurship Isn't a Solo Journey Running your business can feel lonely, but remember, you're not alone. Today, I had a heart-to-heart chat with a friend in the IT industry. We discussed the challenges of starting a company and pushing forward each day. It is not easy, and it's not for the weak. What makes it difficult is it does get lonely when you don't have someone to explain what you're going through or someone who understands you the challenges your going through. What I've learned is connecting with your peers is critical. I've learned so much from conversations with friends, vendors, and people like Melanie Rae. It's these connections that keep us going. Just a reminder to all entrepreneurs out there: don't be afraid to reach out and talk to others in your field. It really helps. #teamspn

At the start of this year we kicked off the ‘WINTR is Coming’ Program with four trainees ready to smash stereotypes on construction projects. We are thrilled to share that NSW Women in Construction has recently published a case study to recognise this innovative program. The WINTR (Women in Non-Traditional Roles) program is designed to provide aspiring women with invaluable hands-on experience and accredited industry qualifications in roles traditionally held by men. This initiative is not just a program; it's a movement towards creating a seismic shift in how women are perceived and engaged within the construction industry. Initiatives like WINTR are essential pillars in our evolving industry. They focus on attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent, which is crucial for the industry's growth. By embracing innovation and diverse perspectives, we can deliver groundbreaking solutions and thrive, even amidst resource constraints. Kudos to everyone involved in this transformative initiative! We love seeing the results: Engaged, dynamic, experienced women who are relishing opportunities in a growing industry.
