Last week, a significant slip occurred at Kauri Tree Corner on State Highway 1 over the Brynderwyn Hills, where NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi teams have been actively working to stabilize the slope. The event was captured in a striking live video, showing the hillside continuing to move, with a substantial amount of material falling on April 30.
