2moI saw this press report: The UK Government is poised to bury material that can be used as fuel for advanced nuclear reactors. Using that as fuel would not only save 100 billion+ in disposal costs, but also generate hundreds of billions of free energy for the UK. For back-up, see statement of Kirk Sorensen in the comments below. Burying it is an irresponsible waste at a time of energy insecurity and budget strain. I hope this will be raised during Nuclear Week, to revert the proposal!
