The 2024 Supply Chain Planning Technology Value Matrix has just been released. This year's Leaders include Blue Yonder, e2open, Infor, John Galt Solutions, Kinaxis, One Network Enterprises, and Wolters Kluwer CCH® Tagetik.   “Through end-user conversations, Nucleus observed that the time required to deploy SCP platforms has significantly decreased. During conversations with customers a few years ago, implementation times were reported to be around a year and a half or more,” said Senior Analyst Charles Brennan. “Analysts found that recent conversations in 2024 indicate these times have shortened to an average of nine and a half months. This reduction in implementation time, combined with more thoughtful approaches to data gathering and change management, has made SCP technology more accessible and practical for organizations.” Read the report for free on the #BloombergTerminal. Cannot believe that such a great solution like SAP IBP is not even mentioned. Curious to hear why...

It would be good to understand for which parameters these tools are compared between each other. On top we are not sure it is always comparing apples with apples. Some of them offer specific and dedicated supply chain planning solutions vs other offering this as a simple module of a more complex ecosystem.

Interesting take Nucleus Research. This almost reads as the hall of fame. In any case, great to see the continued evolution and investment in the APS/SCPT field as the AI/ML takeover gathers pace. Increasingly, a successful implementation boils down to: 1. Strategic fit between customer and vendor - in it for the long haul and invested in success beyond the immediate project delivery 2. Ability to deliver today's requirements with the investment and flexibility to layer in tomorrow's innovations 3. Proven and stress tested functionality, both vertically (x industry) and horizontally (x process) *typically the area requiring most due diligence* 4. Scalable model for project delivery and continuous improvement - with teachable code and a broad range of delivery models 5. Implementation of a comprehensive E2E Planning blueprint containing operating strategy, processes, planning work system, organization/roles/RACI, parameter strategy, metrics, incentives #EY #SupplyChain #SCM #Planning #IBP #APS #SCPT #Digital #Transformation

Do they know there’s a platform called IBP from SAP for digital supply chain planning, or they thought that’s way too ahead to be compared???

Interesting !!! Wasn't expecting Wolter Kluwer's platform competing in Supply Chain Planning area in the leaders quadrant though. Believe this is the vanguard platform.
