Let’s get to know one of our NuEthix Sponsored Ambassadors, Jeff Black, a little bit better! We had him answer the following questions, let’s see what Jeff had to say! What’s the biggest challenge you’ve overcome? Learning to walk again. What’s something most people would be surprised to learn about you? That I am often complimented on “what a great conversationalist” I am. What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment to date? Believing in myself because no one else was going to do it for me. So I rolled my sleeves up and got to work. Anything else you’d like to share about yourself? I love Pandas. How has your business/coaching changed since you started it? I have had to not only become a better man, but a better leader throughout the almost 20 years process of doing both. I believe once I found my values in business I was able to then find the guidance I needed from either books or others to keep going forward to the vision I saw. What are your goals for the rest of 2024? To make sure my brotherhood experiences a great trip this fall together. To spend some more time with my kids as they are getting older and in the final stretch of their activities with school. And probably making sure I keep working at being the man I choose to be daily for the benefit of my marriage. My business goals are always the same, never look up as there is nothing else I would rather do than what I am doing. What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone who simply wants to live an overall healthier life? Keep the promises you make yourself. Circle a W or L each night. Review the promises you kept or didn’t. If you keep breaking them then you have to ask yourself - how bad do you want it or maybe you don’t want it as bad as you say you do. What is one thing you have learned over the last year - related to functional medicine/health coaching, and/or as an entrepreneur? That the weirdest stuff works. I keep an open mind more than ever, but my ears are always listening because we need more of that to win with others in our community.

Guiding YOU to become the leader your company and family will be proud of! Leadership & Executive Coach | Co-Founder | Men's Retreats & Groups | 1 on 1 Business, Leadership & Performance Coaching
Connection changed my life. Community changed my life. Genuine, honest, and deep conversations changed my life. Some I knew I could trust calling me out on my bullshit changed my life. For me, it started in 2015 when I signed up for Accomplishment Coaching to become a coach. That journey, that year-long training process, connected me with myself and with others on a level I was avoiding, afraid of, and frankly didn't even know was possible. If not for that experience and many later, Alchemy of Men would have never been born. And now, we get to pay that back because we are craving connection, friendship, depth, and realness. We don't always know what we need, but we know that we are feeling or avoiding feeling resentment, anger, unhappiness, frustration, sadness, or loneliness. But you don't have to keep fighting through this battle of life alone. It's so much easier and WAY MORE FUN to do it together. This is about taking the journey together, slaying your demons and dragons together, going on hard and fun adventures together, exposing and freeing yourself from shame, being supported when times are tough, and celebrating when you win. When we come together, we can all have so much joy, fulfillment, fun, ease, and peace. Being divided, alone, separated, and trying to navigate this journey of life, relationships, aging, finances, work, marriage, kids, and all the other issues the world brings gets easier and more fun when we are in it together. Join us. Hang with us by our fire. There's nothing dramatic here. There is no magic, hype, or nonsense, just men coming together to create better lives for each other and our families and communities. Our next and final retreat of 2024 is happening in Austin, Texas, Oct 17-20; there is a spot for you.

My wife and I can easily lose ourselves in our ongoing conversations about business. We are both driven and we love spending time together. My wife is a health coach, we homeschool, and we have created a lifestyle of freedom. This morning we worked out together and then took the girls to play pickleball. However, this creates tension and stress when many of our conversations and time together are about business-related goals. The owners, CEO's, and senior leaders I coach face similar challenges. If you and your spouse own and operate a business together below are five ways to stay engaged in meaningful and intimate ways. Here are five ideas for emotional connection, more joy, and less stress and things that we work on in our marriage and owning our businesses. 1) Learn to speak clearly and directly with "I" statements. "I feel frustrated right now and disconnected from you. I am choosing to open myself up and share my fears with you. I would ask for grace and patience as I try to explain what is happening on the inside." 2) When every conversation is a business conversation it is time to unplug and choose to have fun. Create Friday to be a "fun Friday" that intentionally looks for ways to spark fun, joy, and creativity. 3) Choose to have friends beyond your work environment. Choose a new hobby or interest and initiate with others to join with you. Creating your own independent time apart can strengthen your time together. (My wife is going on a girls trip in August and I am going hiking in CO in September.) 4) Create a quarterly calendar that allows for 24-48 hours to retreat from work and get a hotel, dinner, and entertainment in a neighboring city. 5) Always have a trip on the calendar that both of you anticipate. At least once a year create a week-long vacation for just the two of you to go and travel. (My wife and I have an upcoming trip that is honestly overdue.) -- I'm Lantz Howard and I serve business owners as an integrated executive coach with training in marriage therapy. Three ways to work together: 1) This Thursday I have a 30-day Champion Husband challenge starting. DM to get the last remaining space. 2) 1:1 customized coaching to help you align your unique path with more clarity, courage, and confidence. 3) Adventure-based mastermind camps for married entrepreneurs, owners, and senior leaders. -- PS. Took a screen shot of a recent workout that my wife shared on her IG stories.

I help leaders ditch burnout to achieve personal & professional freedom with the experience of a serial entrepreneur and licensed therapist. Love your life & business again!
𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 🤷♂️ As a licensed mental health counselor, I have helped CEOs of companies with revenue between $2 and 20MM manage the mental pressure of growing businesses of this size. I've also worked with veterans, mental health patients, and married couples. So many CEOs come to me with aspirations to continue to succeed in business, and almost all of them say, "... but I don't want to get divorced." I often bring my marriage counseling practice into my work with CEOs. Their marriages are in trouble, and it pours into their businesses. All relationships require communication, compromise, and investments of time. My time as a marriage counselor has taught me that the same goes for business. You must find a way to communicate with current and prospective clients, stop being the only one in charge all the time, and establish yourself for the long haul. A successful business or a thriving marriage? 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵. And I mean this with all due respect and sincerity: I am the only person that can help you succeed in both. 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 so we can get things back on track, all the way around: bit.ly/FreeCallWithScott I look forward to talking soon, Scott #ceobreakthrough #LeadershipStrategies #GeniusZoneAudit #CEOs #entrepreneurs #sevenfigureincome #happylife

Husband, Father, Business Advisor & Coach for People Who Believe There is More Than Just Living to Work. Founder of Total Life Blueprint, Mindset Engine, and Catalyst.
Life is messy. And building a business—while building that life—can make it all the more messy from time to time. And I am okay with that. In fact, I've never really been one that bought the over-hyped, over-polished social versions of life and business. In my book, there is no greater privilege than to sit down with a client who is slaying it in business, but looks up and realizes that his marriage is on fire and needs help...fast. No cooler experience than to watch a brand new business owner find their confidence, their voice, and to take possession of the space they were meant to in the world. And then, to watch that person break free of corporate and find 5-figures, 6-figures, and now numerous 6-figures in almost no time at all. To be able to serve and help a serious entrepreneur who has fallen into addiction, reach out for help, guidance, and leadership for their team while they find the guts to go get help in rehab. No, a lot of the work I am honored to do doesn't really fit on IG. It is imperfect. It is messy. And that is my way of making a difference. No one is ever broken, they are merely wounded. And they need a trusted friend, a mentor, a coach, and a guide who has been through those days and has the light that can illuminate their path. It was funny to me when someone asks earlier this week, "Does that mean I have to be a wreck for you to work with me?" LOL. I laughed and assured them, "No. You just have to be able to be open and un-varnished." People are crying out for authenticity, candor, and genuine experience. And to those who have that and are willing to bring it to light, your audience will reward you for it greatly. I am humbled to do the work that I do. And, I am here to tell you today...you are not alone. Don't you think it is time to stop trying to carry the load of this by yourself? Don't you think it is time to work on you so there is more of you to give to your audience? I welcome the mess. To me, it is the most real work I can do. Let's talk soon.

Do you ever wonder what happened to the space between you and your wife? (Three points below) Years ago the laughter, joy, and intimacy came easy. You know what I am talking about. The passion hit pause. Now you have a full schedule between work and kids. You silently wonder if the spark, aliveness, and connection will be there again. What if instead of settling for busyness and good enough you created enough emotional tension to blow up your marriage to reach the next level? The path forward is navigating the space between you and your spouse is essential to your growth. Here are three ideas to help in the process. 1) Grow Yourself Up - Stand inside your own emotional growth. - You can only shift the way you function. 2) Stand on Your Two Feet - Enmeshment creates a weak marriage. - Learn to own what is yours to do. 3) Face Rejection Quicker - Stop being the nice husband and placating. - Play the man and speak up for what you want. In the upcoming 30 Day Champion Husband Challenge I will unpack these concepts from family systems theory and organizational health in ways that you can put into action. DM to grab your spot. Only 3 spots remain for the bonus 1:1 private coaching session. I’m Lantz Howard and I love helping my clients create a passionate marriage and killer business without losing their soul.

🌟 Certified Relationship Coach & 🎙 Podcast Host Specialising in Infidelity Recovery — 💪 Empowering Betrayed Partners to Rebuild and Heal 🌱
Exploring Relationships: Understanding the Power of Thoughts 🌟 Welcome, everyone! My name is Luke Shillings, let’s talk about relationships 💬 Relationships touch every aspect of our lives, from partners to parents, in-laws to colleagues—even our connection with money. But have you ever considered that our thoughts shape these relationships more than we realise? 🤔 Let's delve into the basics: Relationships are essentially thoughts—our perceptions of others, colored by our unique experiences and viewpoints. 🧠 Everything we feel and experience in a relationship is filtered through our thoughts about that person. And here's the kicker: these thoughts exist within our minds, not theirs. 💖 This understanding has profound implications. It shatters the illusion that others experience the same feelings or situations as we do. Love, anger, hurt—it's all interpreted through our individual lenses. 💡 Realising this truth is liberating. It shifts the focus from trying to control others to managing our own thoughts and emotions. 🍂 Betrayal isn’t just a word; it’s a deep hurt that stays with you, changing how you feel about trust and love. But healing is possible. As an infidelity coach, I've navigated this pain and witnessed transformation. 🌱 Healing starts when you’re ready to face the hurt and believe in a better tomorrow. It’s about putting the pieces back together, making things better, and stronger. 📅 If you’re thinking it’s time for a change, I’m here to help. A 30-minute discovery call could be your first step towards healing and finding joy again. Book your discovery call now 👆— link in bio. Stay tuned for more insights into the complex world of relationships. Remember, it all starts with understanding the power of your thoughts. #lifecoach #relationshipcoach #relationshipgoals #relationshipadvice #healingafterheartbreak #anxiousattachment #breakupcoach #traumacoach #lifecoaching

6 of 10: The dysfunctional family thoughts I have an aversion to 'doilies'... During my psychology studies, I met someone with an aversion to 'wet wood'. We theorised that our 'conditions' may have been the result of similar experiences (as toddlers) at our Nanna's houses - pulling on the doily under the antique vase with fresh flowers, on the polished wooden sideboard, only to up-end the whole shibang into a mess on the good carpet. Nanna cannot have been happy about that... This is what Pavlov would perhaps have considered a conditioned response (fear/discomfort) from a neutral stimulus (a doily or wet wood, which have become conditioned stimuli) as a result of Nanna's reaction. As John points out in chapter 10, we gather a multitude of these mis-associations, strange triggers and what he calls 'defaults'. Now Nanna has long passed on and I no longer pair doilies with punishment and fear. But, I am still overcome with dread every now and again at the prospect of my dog Lola being hit by a car - as poor Rags was when I was ten years old. And don't even mention Xmas dinners and birthdays where the 'same old' behaviours and communication styles threaten to derail a family occasion (imagine if I had to work with them as well???)... 💰 If you would like a free 30 minute consultation with John and the team at Business Coaching Systems to discuss your legacy, succession and business plans please connect with John here on LinkedIn. Include a private message with the phrase 'Four Voices', and we'll be soon in touch to help. #familybusiness #generationalwealth #founder
