Hi everyone, My name is Doctor Martin. I would like to talk to you about cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is a cancer which affects your service, your cervix is the opening to your womb. And it's actually more common than we would like in this part of the world, mostly because most women don't know about it and don't take measures to keep themselves safe. So how do you know you have cervical cancer? So usually in the early stages of cervical cancer, it's almost 77. That means you may not have any sentences but it can usually be detected by doing a pap smear which is a test which takes a small bit of cell from your service area and test it and like microscope. However, if you have late stages of survival cancer, you can have some sentence like discharge from your vagina and it may be bloody, it's may smell very bad and you may also have some lower abdominal pain. But usually by this time the disease we have fast. So it's better to come way before you start experiencing things. So what are the various states you can do to check to make sure you don't have cervical cancer? So the corners test is across here, which is recommended for all women between the ages of three to five to 60 plus. So usually one year. If you've had sexual intercourse before ever in your life, you should get tested for cervical cancer by doing a Pap smear every three years from the age of 25 to 49. And after you've spent 50 years, you can do approximately every five years to make sure that you are safe. So the person usually detects cells in your cervix which may have changes that may bring about cervical cancer. The partner is not a painful test and it's very, it's very quick. It's to stand very quickly. So you can come over to Naval Clinic. We have various tests that we do over here, including a participant to check if you have any cells that may put you at risk of cervical cancer. Thank you.
