VoIP isn’t exactly ground-breaking. It’s been around since the mid-90s. Even if your company doesn’t use the technology now, you’re probably familiar with the basics. Here’s what you may not know: VoIP systems can handle more. A lot more. In fact, the options are so robust that most companies only use about 40-50% of the functionality of their VoIP system. But every company uses a different 40-50%. In other words, your ideal VoIP setup will be unique to you

📞 Wondering about SIP Trunking? Here's the lowdown: At Juno Telecoms, we're frequently asked, 'What is SIP Trunking?' Simply put, SIP Trunking enables business phone solutions to make and receive calls over an IP broadband network. SIP, or Session Initiation Protocol, is an application layer protocol that governs how telephone systems communicate with the phone network. It's a game-changer, allowing voice, video, and messaging over an internet connection for office phone systems. SIP trunking has become the go-to method for PBX systems communication, especially as traditional ISDN circuits phase out before 2025. Unlike ISDN, SIP trunking doesn't rely on physical lines. Instead, it's a service delivered over your business internet connection. To ensure optimal performance, your internet connection needs good quality bandwidth, low latency, minimal packet loss, and reliable upload and download speeds. Got more questions? We've got answers, contact us today or simply visit our website - https://buff.ly/3gO6gIC ! 🌐📶💼 #JunoTelecoms #SIPTrunking #BusinessCommunications

Is there technology out there whereby I can divert a number from my mobile to another number while on the call? As in someone calls the switchboard of my company, no one picks up the switchboard so the number is diverted to a consultant's mobile number. Now it turns out the person calling in is after someone else. Can the consultant divert that number to someone else's mobile - while on the call? I guess you can do that with VOIP systems?

How does voip work? The way a voip service works is that it converts the user's voice from audio signals to digital data, and in the next step, these digital data are sent through the Internet. If another user calls from a regular phone number, the signal is converted back to a phone signal before reaching that user. Among its features is that it routes incoming and outgoing calls using existing telephone networks. However, some voip services are only available through a computer or voip phone.
