A machine for the ages - the McLaren F1! When we talk about Legendary cars throughout history, you can't leave out Gordon Murray's F1 on that list. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest cars ever built, if not the greatest. A top speed record-setting supercar that set the benchmark in the 90s. Even today, the F1 holds the production car top speed record for a Naturally Aspirated car. No small feat. And each example commands its individual respect, not only with enthusiasts, but also on the market. Enter Chassis 029. Finished in Creighton Brown (the only one with this finish), with a Tan/Black Leather interior. The color Creighton Brown is named after former McLaren shareholder & director, Mr. Creighton Brown. It is still in as-delivered condition as well, making it near Museum quality. Chassis 029 sold in 2021 at auction in Monterey for $20.47 million. Making it the most valuable F1 ever auctioned off. With only 243 miles on the odometer at the time of that auction, it is also believed to be the lowest mileage example in existence. With the market continuing to rise on the F1, every year raises the value of these iconic machines further. With an example like Chassis 029 being one of the finest examples of them all. It is now heading to auction again through RMSothebys. All indications point at a final hammer of over $20 million again. The question is, how high will it go? Mercedes-Benz Unveils the New Generation of Its Brawny AMG GT Sports Car After years of waiting, the update is finally here—and it is powerful. Mercedes-Benz unveiled the second generation of its flagship sports car Aug. 18 in Carmel, California. The 2024 AMG GT coupe comes in two variants, a 577-horsepower AMG GT 63 and a 469-horsepower AMG GT 55. The brawnier GT 63 will hit 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph, while the less powerful GT 55 hits those numbers in 3.8 seconds with a 183 mph top speed. Pricing on each car will be announced at a later date; the previous generation vehicle started at roughly $120,000. #business #finance #financialservices
