Still on the hunt for my next administrative role in Tucson... The marvels of modern efficiency! Is it normally slow for entry-level applicants to process through this well-thought-out strategy... Perhaps its to test the candidate's unparalleled patience and resilience. After all, who wouldn't want to hire someone who can endure eternal pause for a simple job application? Perhaps there are those who believe that time spent waiting is directly proportional to the candidate's dedication and enthusiasm. Or maybe it's all a genius plan to make sure only the most persistent souls make it through the hiring gates. Either way, bravo to the masterminds behind this ingenious method of selecting the crème de la crème of the entry-level workforce!

Entertainment Lawyer - Serving Production Companies, Artists, Actors, and Influencers 🎥 🎞 📺 (No Unsolicited Material)
Most law students I meet with are unwilling to start as an assistant to build the skills they need to do entertainment business and legal affairs at a high level. Don't be that student. Shadowing a senior business affairs executive as an assistant for 1 year will teach the the verbal lexicon and speed that you need to do this job right... I know A LOT of smart attorneys who want to practice entertainment law. What separates those who go far are those who learn both skill and speed, which you can only learn in the trenches. #starting #jobs #entertainmentlawyer
Lindsay French and I are hiring a new assistant to support the both of us. If you know anyone who would be a good fit and is eager to work hard and join a great team- please let us know! https://lnkd.in/gpm984bQ

If a senior citizen has a home and lives alone, the challenges to meet financial obligations is overwhelming. How can we help? Expand your thoughts to hire someone who might not look like Barbie or move as fast or care about playing on their phones all day. Hire someone who will work rings around the college kids who have no idea what working means. We all should be aware of this untapped market looking for work and remove the "what year did you graduate high school" from the application! At this time, working at a fast food store or becoming a receptionist seems like the only option. But what about that person with forty years of sales or marketing experience? You will get a mighty bang for your buck. Give age a chance.

.....so I was reminiscing about these thoughts In my head. Here goes, ......for instance, I work as a customer care representative for a particular renowned organization, and after a while there's a vacancy for the position of a senior managerial role or supervisor in that same organization. When the vacant position was opened to the public to apply, I then thought within my self that, I also have the requirements and wherewithal to apply for this same position. Is it wise for me to go on ahead to apply for the position? Being a current staff in that organization, will I be considered? When organizations declare to the public about a vacant position in their working space, do they expect to see staff of that organization apply for such roles if they're interested in it?

Happy Friday! Here are some helpful tips for completing an application with The County of El Dorado. This information is provided to encourage your full and accurate completion of the application as a key step in the selection process. - Take your time and make sure the application is an accurate representation of your qualifications. - Review the Minimum Qualifications (MQ's) for the position and be sure to demonstrate in your application how you qualify for the position. - While completing your application, keep in mind that the person initially reviewing your application is likely not familiar with your work experience or education. - Provide sufficient details of your duties and responsibilities. Job titles do not tell us about the breadth and depth of your experience. - Include all relevant positions and/or experience in your application. - If multiple positions were held, list each position separately as an individual entry. For example, Social Worker I, II, III would be listed as three different job entries. - Don't use acronyms or slang. Apply for a position today! ✨ https://lnkd.in/gMnsUZC #CountyofElDoradoHR #JobTips
