🚀 🌟 Excited to share my journey as part of IITM’s incubated company, LEAP, through the LP201 program! 🌟 This incredible experience, guided by LEAP (Learn Engineering by Activity with Products) part of IIT Madras, empowered us to tackle real-world challenges through hands-on learning. Its a unique and intensive journey from February 2023 to May 2024. Focused on building impactful prototypes that solve real-world problems across domains like Precision Agriculture, Health Care, and Home/Office Automation, this program allowed me and my team to develop the Beach Cleaning Bot prototype—a solution addressing pressing environmental challenges. The program sharpened our technical and problem-solving skills as we moved through all stages of product engineering, from ideation and design to hands-on development and prototyping. Weekly sessions provided invaluable insights into reverse engineering, embedded programming, and even 3D printing! 💡 Key Takeaways: - Innovation & Problem-Solving: Applying design thinking to tackle real-world issues. - Cross-Disciplinary Skills: Collaborating in a diverse team, enhancing teamwork, and managing challenges. - Hands-On Development: From Arduino programming and sensor integration to CAD-to-STL file conversion for 3D printing. - Presentation Skills: Documenting our journey, presenting our prototype, and receiving feedback. Exciting Partnership Alert! Ministry of Federal education has teamed up learnorobot to launch 7 state-of-the-art Makerspaces in government schools in addition to three existing three ! These innovation hubs will provide students with hands-on experience in: Robotics AI Space-Tech Coding Electronics 3D modeling & printing Engineering Empowering students with 21st-century skills like creativity, problem-solving, and innovation! 🌟 Strengthening International Collaborations in EdTech 🌟 As part of the EdTech Talents Project, Prof. Dr. Zsolt Lavicza from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (JKU) visited Hungary, hosted by Education First, during two highly productive visits: 22-29 August 2024 and 25-31 October 2024. These engagements set the stage for exciting future collaborations, particularly with Maker's Red Box and Redmenta, with additional support from Craftunique Kft. on 3D printing technologies. Key outcomes from these visits include: 📌Collaboration Projects: Initiating joint trials and evaluations with Maker's Red Box and Redmenta, exploring innovative ways to enhance EdTech solutions. 📌Maker Spaces: Designing and establishing maker spaces that integrate cutting-edge EdTech tools. 📌Future Engagements: Planning a small conference in Linz, bringing together the Linz research team and project partners. This will include a visit to the Linz STEAM Lab in December for trials of new products. Additionally, on 5 December 2024, Adam Horvath Horváth from Education Next visited Johannes Kepler University (JKU). Adam shared an inspiring presentation on the state of EdTech with researchers from the Linz School of Education and STEM education specialists. His insights sparked meaningful discussions about the latest trends and the future of EdTech, creating new opportunities for collaboration. These initiatives highlight the EdTech Talents Project’s dedication to fostering international partnerships and driving innovation in education technology.
