My Personal Learning Journey I’ve always believed in the importance of investing in my education. Recently, I completed a course on FSSC 22000 Internal Audit and Sensory Evaluation at the University of Zimbabwe. These courses deepened my understanding of quality assurance and consumer preferences. Additionally, I attended specialized training at the Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Center for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and Meat Processing. Each of these experiences has not only enhanced my technical skills but also reignited my passion for Food Science. I encourage you to actively seek out learning opportunities. I have completed a new certification course "Transformation of global food system" from Coursera.

Stay informed or be Deformed. Learning is a daily routine that only ends when one is been cut short of oxygen by the Almighty. In that case, we already knew that no matter the age, skin colour, or size, no one is a reservoir of knowledge. This is so because no one knows it all and this calls for Continuous Learning. To be informed about daily trends, one ought to learn always. Remember, when you're not informed, you will be deformed. I strongly believe that no one at this age would want to be deformed. Continuous learning plays a pivotal role in the field of Food Science. With the food industry constantly evolving, professionals must stay updated to remain competitive and ensure food safety and quality. By expanding their knowledge and skills, food scientists can understand the latest regulations, incorporate innovative practices, and meet the changing needs of consumers. Lifelong learning not only keeps professionals at the forefront of this dynamic industry but also fosters innovation and ensures the well-being of society. It equips individuals with new techniques and problem-solving abilities, enhances job performance, and allows them to offer valuable insights and expertise. Embracing continuous learning in Food Science is vital for personal growth, professional success, and creating safe, innovative, and sustainable food products. Staying informed in the field of Food Science and Technology is essential for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
