Teach your kids different ways to give back to the community ❤️ Create Care Packages: Encourage your kids to put together care packages for the homeless or elderly. Include items like socks, non-perishable snacks, and handwritten notes to brighten someone's day. Whether you are a caregiver or someone who needs care, we all need help. Know in order to receive help you have to be willing to ask for help. There are many reasons why people may not ask for help; they may feel like they are a burden, they may feel they will not get the support they need, or they are hoping the help will come to them. To those that matter, you are not a burden. People may be hesitant to help because they don't know how to best help you. People may not provide help as they may not even know you are struggling because you are so good at hiding it. Be brave and don't be afraid to ask for help. Be specific about the help that you need and what that help looks like. Those who care for you and love you will lend a helping hand, provide a shoulder to lean or cry on, an ear to listen, and a heart to connect to.
