Personalisation is a waste of time if you aren't doing the basics right. When we review content on live hotel websites or apps we find broken links, outdated information and references to events that have come and gone. Content is created to inspire bookings and enhance guest experience through local recommendations. Intentions are good but time takes its toll soon after the content is published. Ensuring that these errors don't occur, and potential guests are shown accurate information, should be the baseline. Only then is it worth making rich visual content, catering to all types of travellers and occasions and personalising what content is shown, to whom and when. If you're striving for a 5, as you should be, you need to get to 0 first. #traveltech #personalization #hoteltech #guestexperience
