When it comes to AI in the workforce, there's a common misconception that it can do anything you want it to do. I disagree. ... ... ... AI, in its current form, excels at doing what you don't want to do. This isn't just semantics. AI is fantastic, but it's not ready to perform the high-value tasks your top employees handle. Trying to align AI for such tasks is a lost cause—right now. Instead, think of AI as a tool to offload those tedious administrative tasks that prevent you from being a high performer. Organizations don’t compensate high-value employees for low-value work. Offload that work to AI so you can focus on driving the mission forward.

Is AI going to be friend... or foe? Considering the transformative effect AI has had on every sector since its emergence, I think it's safe to say that AI has been nothing short of revolutionary. This year's AI at Work report by my colleagues at BCG delves into how companies can provide the reassurances employees need to embrace AI fully while mitigating their fears. Enjoy the read! https://lnkd.in/dYJgWaGM Using AI daily, I see both significant productivity gains and the anxieties it introduces. How do you feel about the impact of AI on your job?

Should AI replace jobs? We don’t think so. At Magic, we are NOT using AI to replace jobs. We believe “Humans + AI” > AI by itself. We use AI across our entire company so that people are more productive and capable of doing more. We give everyone at Magic unlimited access to the most powerful models currently available. Plus, when you get an assistant with Magic, they are already trained on how to use AI every day to be more efficient and productive. It’s a “win-win” for everybody.

The obsession with AI can be incredibly stressful. I've been in rooms with esteemed thought leaders, but when the conversation shifts to AI, I find it overwhelming. For some folks, AI seems like a tool solely for strategizing or eliminating what they perceive as menial tasks. They question why they should pay for multiple employees when one person armed with AI can do the job with a single prompt. However, AI isn't meant to replace people; rather, it's meant to enhance their abilities, enabling them to work smarter, faster, and more effectively. Above all, while AI can assist in gathering vast amounts of data, it still requires human interpretation to make sense of it. #talksAboutAI #TalksAboutSEO #ThoughtLeader #LetsOptimize #letsconverse
