1. Name And Job title in Tukuuma I am Kyeyune Allan, and I work as a Field Coordinator at Tukuuma. 2. What inspired you to pursue your current career path? At first, my focus on environmental conservation was uncertain. Originally, my goal in joining Tukuuma was driven by financial and career aspirations, coming from a different academic background. However, as fate would have it, I was guided to a team deeply dedicated to nature preservation. Their enthusiasm consistently influenced and reshaped my perspective on the world. I can confidently affirm that I am a living testament to Tukuuma's impactful work in the world. 3. Can you share a memorable experience or project that has had a significant impact on your professional journey? I would like to highlight the support and teamwork demonstrated among my team members. A significant experience was witnessing the love and joy shared during the first gift exchange at a team gathering in my initial year with Tukuuma. Such moments are rare among colleagues but they have provided me with valuable insights as a Field Coordinator. It's not only about professionalism and strictness that make effective workers but also inclusivity and moments of enjoyment. 4. Can you share any interesting hobbies or passions outside of work? My hobbies outside of work include watching animated movies with biblical themes and delving into research on new work-related, biblical, and theological terminologies. 5. What advice would you give to others who are aspiring to succeed in your field? I would tell them that the environment is no man's property to destroy, but every one's responsibility to protect.

There are lessons in life that we can only grasp by stepping out into the world. Theories and concepts can only take us so far; real understanding comes from firsthand experience. Having lived in Lagos all my life, I realized I had never visited the famous Eko Market until recently. The journey was an eye-opener. The roads were so flooded that we had to wear boots to get to our destination. This experience made me reflect on how much we miss when we stay within the confines of our comfort zones. Life is not just what we see from the corner of our rooms. It’s full of unexpected challenges and realities that can teach us invaluable lessons. Stepping out and witnessing the world firsthand can shift our perspectives and deepen our understanding of the challenges others face daily. It reminds us of the resilience required to thrive in such conditions. It's when we immerse ourselves in new environments, engage with diverse people, and face unfamiliar challenges that we truly learn. Being "out there" pushes us to adapt, innovate, and grow in ways we never imagined. Reflecting on my journey, I've found that some of the most valuable insights and skills came from moments of uncertainty and exploration. These experiences taught me resilience, broadened my perspective, and empowered me to seize new opportunities. The world is waiting to teach us what we can only learn by being out there. #Growth #LearningByDoing #Experience #BoldMoves

𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐚💧🌍 As an environmental engineer, I am thrilled to share the inspiring story of the people of Haska Mena (Debala) district in #Nangarhar! With the financial support of citizens and relatives abroad, they have constructed 43 dams—13 large and 30 small—that are revolutionizing water management in the region. These dams aren't just static structures; they're lifelines, efficiently capture and store rain and flood water, addressing the severe water table decline and ensuring a steady supply for drinking and agriculture. But here's what truly warms my hearth: it's not just about humans. This remarkable initiative not only combats water scarcity but also boosts food production and provides drinking water for animals, all sorts of creatures, big and small whether it's buzzing insects or majestic animals taking a sip, everyone's getting a share of the water. The positive impact on migratory communities has been profound, demonstrating the incredible resilience and hard work of our Afghan people. Let's celebrate and encourage such grassroots efforts in sustainability and community-driven solutions! #WaterManagement #Sustainability #CommunityPower #EnvironmentalEngineering

From a bare life to a successful life is very challenging in today's Survival. Meaning to say that, success starts at zero, whether in Education, Business or Religious background. But as we grew up, we start to develop new ideas, thoughts and concepts in life. Life changes every seconds in a minute, minutes in an hour, hours in a day, days in a week, week in a month, months in a year, years in a decade, decades in a century, centuries in millenium. According to environmental concepts plants also grow for their survival but due to the Anthropocentric worldview people cause destruction. Destruction is a form of damage that is caused by people towards the environment caused by human activities to meet our needs in terms food for survival. Papua New Guinea is starting to loose it's virgin forest by allowing foreiners to come and operate their unbeneficial logging in our land. From my observation to the people of Madang, starting from Transgogol to part of Bogia people have started to loose their huge forests. Without realizing that their decisions in allowing clear felling of indigineuos trees resulted in climate change within the province. Very sorry to see people living along the coasts a facing problems about sea level rise. So this is a very special call to Madang Provincial Government to please atleast settle the issues faced by our local people living along the coasts of, 1.Bilbil 2. Garim 3. Matugar 4. Siar 5. Yabob 6. And many other impacted area within the province. A call to you is because, such unbeneficial companies operating here in Madang do you aware of? They are operating because of their personal interest in terms on monetary needs? If so then just shut of, but they have already caused the damage to the province in which the nature cannot compensate for that, call to them to atleast do something helpful for the above impacted areas so that their livelihood is sustained at ease.
