Dear network, I hope you're doing well. At Goodnotes, we have several open positions for Senior Engineers. I'm reaching out to you because I have several iOS and Full Stack engineer positions open within my teams, and I could use your help with those. I know I have many talented recruiters and recruitment agencies in my network, but I'm afraid we're not engaging with any agency to fill these roles. Sorry about that. iOS: https://lnkd.in/dveNS7hy If you enjoy native iOS development and would like to work on solving technical challenges rarely seen elsewhere, Goodnotes is definitely the place for you. We're proud to have won the iPad App of the Year 2022. I'm looking for engineers in two teams: * If you like working on features used on a daily basis by our 20MM+ user base, you sound like a good fit for the Core Digital Paper Team. * If you enjoy improving the development experience and having other engineers in the company as your end users, the Performance, Stability, and Infrastructure Team is the place for you. If you can't decide between the two because you'd like them both, even better! We highly value flexible and adaptable individuals who enjoy working on multiple fronts. Full Stack: https://lnkd.in/dmQEz2qC Goodnotes is super popular in the Apple ecosystem. We want it to continue that way but also aim to make it equally popular on other platforms. In Core Digital Paper (see above), we're looking to build a multi-disciplinary team so that we can release simultaneously on macOS/iOS and other platforms. Other reasons to join Goodnotes: * You can work remotely from many countries in the Europe or Asia timezone. * We also offer relocation assistance to our offices in London and Hong Kong. * We take well-being seriously. Apart from a ~120 EUR monthly well-being budget, you'll have 30 days of Annual Leave (it may vary a bit depending on the country you're in), and my public reassurance as your future manager that I take well-being very seriously. * The list of benefits is crazy good and is constantly improving based on people's feedback. As an example, the Home Office Setup budget is ~3,500 EUR, and you get another stipend every two years. If you're interested in those roles or know someone who might be, please apply using the links provided or feel free to reach out to me. Thanks!

Would you like to meet some of the people behind the Famly app? Today we're introducing Tomas Lieberkind, Senior Frontend Engineer. Let's learn a little bit more about Famly's best foosball player ⚽️ 📌 What celebrity would you like to be BFF’s with? - Kristin Wiig. Her nutty SNL sketches make me think she must be a blast to be around. 📌 How do you relax? - By competing. It makes me focus in a way that forces my mind off whatever might be bugging me. 📌 What’s your first memory involving a computer? - Playing SinkSub on my granddad’s Windows 3.1 computer - a super old game where you had to bomb submarines that were floating underneath your warship. 📌 What do you like most about working with our product? - How multi-faceted the challenges are. On the surface, the product looks deceptively simple, but there are many lovely rabbit holes that one can tumble down. 📌 What’s your favourite place in the office? - The nearest coffee machine! 📌 How does Famly support your professional development? - By being very open to different career paths. Developers becoming full stack, switching to EMs or PMs or continuing developing their expertise as individual contributors - it’s pretty open. 📌 Does tech have any limitations? - Yes, but I’m not gonna tell you. Stay tuned for more Famly talent coming soon!

advocating for quality in healthcare technology — building test automation — working to ensure greater value to stakeholders -- steady and deliberate -- motivated by helping and supporting --focused on what works
I've had the pleasure of working with a few excellent software professionals who were very unfortunately laid off this week. These people are all extremely high-performing, very smart individuals who will add value to any company they work for. If you or anyone you know are hiring for any of the following positions, please let me know so I can refer you. Product Owner/Project Manager - If you want a project built right the first time, this is your person. She also just completed a full-stack development boot camp. She is an organizational mastermind. Principal Test Engineer - The most thorough person I've ever met. This person, by instinct and experience, knows the right questions to ask to get the highest quality from a product. Security, performance, mobile, web, api, database. Anything you want tested, and tested well, he'll make sure it happens. AWS Cloud Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer - Taught me so much about what is required to maintain a stable web application. Knows an incredible amount about AWS’s vast array of tools and services. Deep thinker. Great conversation partner. Custom Support Specialist - This person knows exactly how to talk with engineers to get customer issues resolved quickly. If you're interested in retaining happy customers, this is who you want on your team. Mobile Engineer (specializing in iOS) - This guy knows the intricacies of mobile development like nobody I've ever seen. I know I often speak in superlatives, but I have never worked with someone who is this good at creating a great mobile user experience. He is always open to feedback and never backs down from a challenge.

Social entrepreneur & yoga teacher. Co-founder at Careibu, The Nature Collective, Her Berg Foundation and Stichting Senior&Student.
10 reasons why you (don't) want to work at Careibu as a software developer: ❌ A big salary to buy big stuff ❌ Code for 'bullshit' and contribute to the enrichment of a few people ❌ A title like CTO or CPO or C.. ❌ An office on the Zuidas ❌ A manager, founder or other 'boss' who tells you what to do ❌ Make it seem like you always work from 9 to 5 and are super productive ❌ Strictly separate work and private life, you lead a double life ❌ Lunches with a 'broodje kroket' and/or champagne ❌ Wasting your talent by developing something the world doesn't really need ❌ Contributing to profit maximization in the form of money for shareholders ✅ Still an 'above average' income ✅ Code for 'good' and contribute to the enrichment of many people ✅ A title like 'software developer' because that's what you do 🙂 ✅ A green and sustainable office in Amsterdam-Noord ✅ A holacratic team structure in which you tell us what you are going to do ✅ Work when and how long you are productive, we 'just' trust you ✅ At work you are a human being, you do not lead a double life ✅ Healthy, plant-based lunches ✅ Use your talent by developing something that really makes the world better ✅ Contribute to impact maximization in the form of bringing people together
