"In celebration of #Cancer #Immunotherapy Month, Roger Waltzman, CMO at Indaptus Therapeutics (NASDAQ INDP), sat down for a moment to reflect on his journey. From a young age, the loss of a few family pets sparked his curiosity about diseases, steering him towards a career in medicine. Today, he leads Indaptus' efforts to #revolutionize #cancertreatment by harnessing the power of the #immunesystem to target and destroy cancer cells, and bring #innovative solutions to cancer patients." https://lnkd.in/gPQPzDrR #Pfizer

More and more funding entities (Germany - "Anchoring sustainability considerations in DFG funding activities ": https://lnkd.in/e85iRM8k) require action from research labs to reduce their environmental footprint - and prove it. That's a very positive and important sign. #Grenova can provide you with a personalized impact analysis regarding pipette tips and microplates usage - and offers solutions to minimize carbon emissions, reduce plastic waste and save water. #reduce #reuse #recycle #sustainability
My Green Lab is proud to share that Cancer Research UK (CRUK) is introducing new requirements for researchers and organizations as part of their new policy on environmental sustainability in research. From 2026, they will require researchers applying to the majority of their funding schemes to hold an accreditation, like My Green Lab Certification, demonstrating the environmental sustainability of their laboratories. Chief Science Officer & Analysis Ecosystem Expert | Making data available and actionable for researchers to help advance precision medicine
We just celebrated Independence Day from sea to shining sea. This Thursday & Friday, I'm thrilled to be part of the National Institute Of Aging hybrid workshop on Interoperability in AD/ADRD data resources. My presentation will highlight some strong positive impacts from bridging compute on cancer data between Australia and the USA, some opportunities to catalyze similar impacts today, & the non-trivial challenges that we are addressing as a field. https://lnkd.in/daiMqd3K

History isn't just written by men. At BIG, we celebrate the incredible influence of women who've shaped scientific progress and medical breakthroughs, like those in breast cancer research. 👩🔬 Marie Curie, a physicist and chemist, shattered gender barriers, uncovering the secrets of radioactivity and becoming the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields. 🔬 Françoise Barré-Sinoussi's virology work led to HIV discovery, revolutionising AIDS treatment. ⚛️ Chien-Shiung Wu's nuclear physics experiments confirmed the theory of parity violation in weak nuclear interactions. From Emmy Noether's math brilliance to Barbara McClintock's genetic insights and environmental advocacy of Jane Goodall & Rachel Carson, women redefine our universe and inspire progress in breast cancer research. Let's honour these women on International Women's Day, March 8th, and commit to supporting women in science worldwide. #BIGagainstBC #BreastCancer #BreastCancerResearch #InternationalWomensDay

DolaLock-based ADC Platforms. The metabolic trigger in ADCs activates inside cancer cells, where specific enzymes cleave it, creating a negative charge that keeps the drug inside the cell. This ultimately suppresses the bystander effect, differing from many anti-B7H4 ADCs like HS-20089, SGN-B7H4V, and AZD8205. Stay tuned for clinical data. Adjustment of the drug-to-antibody ratio. A low drug-to-antibody ratio minimizes risk to healthy cells, while a high ratio is more effective against cancer cells. Mersana Therapeutics customizes this ratio based on the number of receptors on the target cancer cell's surface.
Great read! Mersana Chief Science & Technology Officer Timothy Lowinger shares his perspective in this Nature article about the ongoing innovations in the #AntibodyDrugConjugate space. https://lnkd.in/eadvP4Eh

🔬 Have you ever witnessed a CAR-T cell in action, attacking and killing cancer cells? It's an incredible display of how complex and dynamic biology can be. 🤔 This intricate dance involves more than just a simple attack; it's about binding, decision-making, and the hopeful triumph over disease. But capturing and understanding these events is no small feat. It requires specialized tools and the ability to analyze vast amounts of data – something that, until now, has been challenging to achieve on a meaningful scale. Could you spot the CAR-T hunting with a lazo its target? (And stay tuned to really see what happens in the next few days!) 🚀 That's where we come in. We're dedicated to unveiling the complexity of single-cell events leading to the success or failure of CAR-T cell therapies. Our platform is designed to transform chaos into comprehensible data, paving the way for groundbreaking discoveries in drug development. 📊 Imagine a future where each T cell's journey against cancer can be tracked, understood, and optimized. How will this shape your work? 👩🔬👨🔬If you are interested to know more let’s meet in Valencia and if you cannot be there let’s connect. Join our mission. Witness the unseen.
