Our Site Manager Manager Detlef Lemoine shares the key data on the lifting of the sewage sludge dryers in our project #VERA 💙🌊 The dryers are one of the main components of a sludge incineration plant. In the VERA II project they are also the heaviest single lifting units in our plant construction work. With an annual sludge throughput of approximately 76,000 tonnes of dry matter, we are building the largest sewage sludge incineration plant in Germany for our client HAMBURG WASSER. In addition, the expansion has the potential to increase the sludge throughput to 97,000 tonnes per year. Port Houston has been awarded a $25 million grant from the US Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration (MARAD) that will be used to upgrade and improve the efficiency of a grain elevator leased by Hansen Metro Elevation. Meet Alan, Project Director for ISC at our Barking WTS site! 👋 On this £34 million project, we're building a new waste treatment facility for our client, Cory. Once completed in 2025, this facility will see approx. 550,000 tonnes of household rubbish pass through it each year. This waste will then be compacted and rolled out onto a newly constructed quayside, where it will be dropped onto barges and towed down the river to Belvedere, to Cory's Riverside 2 Incinerator Plant, where it will be converted into electricity to power approx. 176,000 homes per year. We're extremely proud of the hard work shown on this project by the ISC team, setting new industry standards for quality, innovation and sustainability.
