Why do orgs think that appointing a stand-alone Head of HR or HR Manager is best for business? Would the same orgs. appoint similarly for Finance or Marketing or Tech? Put people first if you genuinely value your employees. Appoint competent HR profs and listen to their advice to ensure support for employees & to get the best out of them.
