Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats and taking on diverse roles that have honed my skills. From the Wisconsin State Legislature to local government, I’ve developed a unique blend of expertise in customer service, administrative support, research and event coordination.
📌 Legislative Experience:
As a Research Assistant/Committee Clerk supporting elected officials in the Wisconsin State Legislature, I managed sensitive information, coordinated special events, drafted committee reports and bill summaries, facilitated the committee and legislator’s schedule and served as a trusted resource for the public, media, state agencies and colleagues.
My role required in-depth research and analysis of complex issues, as well as clear and professional communication with a wide range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
I played a key role in hiring and supervising employees, balancing leadership and collaboration with professionalism, tact and discretion.
📌 Municipal Clerk/Treasurer Role:
As Clerk/Treasurer for the Village of North Prairie, I managed HR functions, handled confidential materials, issued various permits and licenses and processed open records requests.
My responsibilities included budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, all aspects of running elections, preparing minutes of Village Board Meetings and serving as the custodian of records—all while streamlining processes and keeping the community informed.

Successfully implemented a direct deposit payroll system, despite having no formal background in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll.
Coordinated Capitol moves into newly refurbished wings of the building with precision and adaptability, even without formal training in project management.
Spearheaded the launch of a municipal social media presence, enhancing public engagement and transparency.
I thrive in roles that require versatility, shifting priorities and analytical thinking. Whether it’s conducting in-depth research, navigating complex policies or mastering new technologies, I bring dedication, a strong work ethic and a passion for solving problems; I love going down the proverbial rabbit hole.
