Dearest Esteemed LinkedIn Ton, I must confess, I feel quite like Lady Whistledown these days, navigating the bustling world of recruitment. Much like the grand ballrooms of Bridgerton, the hiring landscape is full of excitement, intrigue, and the occasional drama! Here’s what we’ve learned from our favorite Regency matchmakers: 👑Profile Perfection: Just as a debutante’s dance card must be flawless, so too must your CV and LinkedIn profile. Ensure they shine brighter than the chandeliers at a royal ball. 📖Networking Novels: Imagine every coffee chat, LinkedIn message or telephone call as a chapter in your own Bridgerton novella. Who knows which connection might become the Duke (or Duchess) of your career? (Lets all hope its Colin Bridgerton) 💃🏻Interview Intrigue: Approach interviews like a waltz – with grace, poise, and a touch of flair. And remember, eye contact and a firm handshake can be just as impactful as a well-executed bow. Let’s all raise our teacups to a hiring season filled with successful matches and fewer awkward dance (or interview) mishaps. Yours truly in career matchmaking, https://lnkd.in/e9KNwCZq #Hiring #LinkedIn #Recruitment #Bridgerton #LadyWhistledown

You have had a job interview. In fact, you have just finished the 3rd interview and you are waiting to hear: did you or did you not get the job. More often than not - if you hear back quickly, it’s usually good news. If there is a time delay … it often (not always) means that the employer has likely extended an Offer to someone else and when they get that person signed on - then, they’ll circle back to you with notice of the declination. That said, after a week of waiting you should follow-up and check-in because it could also just be a delay related to administration. As a reminder: I work 1:1 with young adults (ages 18-34). I support them in identifying their career direction and guide them through the job search/networking process into landing the job that will launch their career. More information is on my website: daphnewoolf.com or call/text me at: (647) 969-0561.

Have you seen ABA company recruiters try to recruit BCBAs in one-liners? Lots of these recruiters do not even know how to pronounce the areas they are hiring in! Places like "Chesapeake" stumping them on pronunciation. Example:/ Hiring for BCBA in VA- clinic based. Hiring part time remote role in AZ Looking for BCBAs to join our team in NC I'm sorry, but the industry needs to do better in describing in detail what exactly they are looking for when they are hiring a candidate and what the position entails! This is an element of big ABA making our industry look like 💩 Thoughts?
