2moPreviously, I've been using the Hyperworks for meshing, PRIMER for model assembly + error checking, and back to Hyperworks for postprocessing. I would say Oasys PRIMER is one of the best LS Dyna preprocessing software that I've ever used. With the latest Radioss solver capability to directly read the LS Dyna keywords, it is about time the two software to collaborate further 😁 Here are some of the ideas for Oasys that i can come up with: 1) the connections keywords between PRIMER and Hyperworks are interchangeable. 2) the keywords for mechanism (to move/rotate joints for seat, dummies) and seatbelt setup are interchangeable. 3) PRIMER can add support for Radioss keywords. 4) PRIMER can add features to mix LS-Dyna and Radioss keywords (through *INCLUDE_RADIOSS or /INCLUDE_LS-DYNA, depending on the main solver input format). 5) PRIMER can call Hyperworks to update the mesh (for part replacement) of the desired parts, or to change the active subsystem (e.g from sedan to hatchback) 6) add a feature to check whether all the defined LS Dyna keywords are supported by the Radioss solver.
