Keep it clean… Not all sheet metal activity involves laser cutting, folding, rolling and welding - assembly and cleaning are just as important, as these two photos illustrate. The frame is built from beautiful, ITEM modular extruded sections supplied by the wonderful company Machine Building Systems Ltd. Parts are modified according to drawings before the exact assembly is brought together, with fittings for door slides and counterweights added. Specially modified panelling creates obscure lower insert panels, completing the assembly with clear panels. Trims are added and the unit is cleanly wrapped on its special transportation pallet. Cleaning is the action in the second photo covering the laborious task of removing the stainless-steel welding discolouration. What we do when a #customer comes in with a damaged #gasket and needs it urgently fixed: #Assessment: This morning, a customer arrived urgently needing a gasket to fix their exhaust system. They were flying out within a few hours and only had a damaged gasket with them - no dimensions, and very little information. #Measurements and Drawings: We measured the existing part and created precise drawings using AutoCAD® for the new gasket. #Material Selection: For this marine exhaust system, we chose @Donit Tesnit 3mm BAR, known for its durability and reliability (Aramid fibres, inorganic fillers, NBR binder, carbon steel wire mesh insert). #Precision Cut: Using our CNC knife cutter, we quickly and accurately cut the new gasket.
