One word - INCREDIBLE!! And what’s more incredible - they are coming very soon to a street near you! Brace yourselves.. and get the infrastructure (& policy requirements, looking at you Nicola Haughey-James) ready to accommodate these new “residents” in our cities. #robotics #smartcities #cognitivecities #safety #mobility #humanoidrobotics #embodiedAI CC OBSESSION Mohamad Badr Sami Shatila Dr. Jacinta Dsilva Mohamed Moselhy Ismail Ozenc, CCXP Anna M. Coincidentally, today I was discussing with my dear friend Khaled Alshaar, how the rapid advancement in technology, specifically AI and automation, will soon have a significant impact on the workforce. This could potentially lead to high unemployment rates, not just from job displacement, but from the rapid replacement of roles where human labor is almost no longer needed. This brings up an important question: how will our society and governments handle this shift? For example, as more people venture into building their own e-commerce stores, we see an increase in entrepreneurs. But if everyone becomes an entrepreneur and not an employee, what happens when traditional jobs disappear faster than new opportunities can be created? It’s worth considering the broader impact of these technological advances on the economy and whether they might ultimately do more harm than good. What do you think?

🌐 With 200,000 robots set to hit UAE streets by 2032, it’s an electrifying time for robotics Andy Palanisamy! Urban landscapes are evolving faster than software updates (as you know) and preparing for these ‘new residents’ means crafting infrastructure and policies that prioritise safety, inclusivity, and seamless integration. Equally exciting is “smooth gait” is about to stride into the compliment lexicon ha 😅
