👏 These high school students are making a big impact on their local communities. 👏 In collaboration with our partners in South Florida, Debris Free Oceans and Big Blue & You, and funded by NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, our Plastic Free Cities program empowers high school students to work with local businesses to eliminate single-use plastics such as cups, plates and utensils, often replacing them with reusable or backyard compostable products. Natalia De Prisco, a Plastic Free Cities student from Doral, Florida, shared her experience with the program throughout the fall 2023 semester. Check it out and learn how YOU can make change in your area during #PlasticFreeJuly and all year long! https://lnkd.in/ekf6a83T
