Of interest here are Agenda Item 7 Issues A, B and J.
More specifically, work on Issue A concluded that if there is a discrepancy between actual and the notified altitude/inclination of a NGSO systems, the notifying administration shall demonstrate that this does not result in any increased interference or, if the discrepancy is too large , the notified characteristics should align with the actual parameters.
Work on Issue B establishes a post-milestone procedure that enables NGSO operators to temporarily continue operating with fewer satellites than originally notified.
Finally, the amended Resolution 76 under Agenda Item Issue J introduces regular consultation meetings where the level of aggregate interference caused to GSO FSS or GSO BSS (together with necessary measures to ensure compliance) will be determined.
COM6 (dealing Agenda Item for WRC-27 and WRC-31) is meeting now.
More exciting news to come.
Now up to Plenary to validate outcome from the various Committees.
