How to measure earth leakage currents of series circuits? Did you know that OCEM’s IRM (Insulation Resistance Monitoring System) allows for the measuring of earth leakage currents in series circuits? The IRM displays the insulation resistance value locally, making it available within the local network e.g. optical fiber but also on the cabinet and the control stations. The permanent monitoring and insulation measurement of the series circuits enables detection of deterioration of the earth insulation, keeping the maintenance log updated on potential criticalities. Check out how the IRM solution can help improve the safety in your airport operations and read more about the Venice Marco Polo Airport case story. Did you know that TBMs in microtunnelling have recently started to have eyes? What sounds like a science fiction movie is in fact a groundbreaking innovation for projects with small and even non-accessible diameters. 🤔The pain point: precise navigation surveying of TBMs excavating longer or curved small-diameter drives. So far, it has been necessary to calibrate the gyro navigation system through time-consuming manual measurements at frequent intervals. ❗The most significant issue: very small diameters in direct pipe projects where an access of the pipe is impossible. 🚀The solution: Camera-based next-level control survey #automation For the first time, our recent development called TUnIS.pipelight makes it possible to carry out control surveys in non-accessible curved drives. The system’s mode of operation is based on a completely innovative technology using compact camera sensors to monitor LED light points – with impressing benefits: ➔ Significant reduction in costs and construction time: The number of intermediate shafts can be significantly reduced ➔ Considerable decrease in downtime for accessible direct pipe jobs: Automated control measurements take a maximum of 30 minutes instead of several hours. ➔ Increased daily output and maximum occupational safety We are looking forward to a new era in microtunnelling, and you? #tunnelling #microtunnelling #trenchlesstechnology #surveying VMT GmbH #guidedbyVMT # underground #infrastructure #tunnels https://bit.ly/3USbFE3

The ARCS Group is introducing our new UV camera technology for detecting of broken wire strands on overhead lines, a key aspect of ‘Predictive Maintenance’. Currently, as a first seen in Australia, ARCS Group are running trials to prove the success of this technology seen across the globe. With early detection using UV camera systems, this common issue can be addressed, preventing significant rail interruptions known as 'down lines'. This is crucial for minimising both downtime and costs for any major heavy-haul rail operator. The proven UV camera technology, now available in Australia, is designed to tackle this challenge head-on. Our expert team and partners are currently implementing this solution through multiple proof-of-concept projects in major heavy-haul rail operations. 🔗 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆? Did you remember that an elevated section of the Mexico City MRT collapsed, causing a train to fall, killing 26 people, and injuring dozens? Investigations have shown that structural defects and poor maintenance led to the accident. So, it’s particularly urgent to establish an intelligent online monitoring system for bridges to prevent collapses. Ougan wants to share our monitoring goods: vibration sensors, crack meters, water level gauges, and hygrothermographs to manage and monitor bridge conditions in a timely manner. We not only apply these in bridges but also in foundation pits, slopes, tunnels, buildings, and more. Choose Ougan monitoring goods for more safer life. #Innovation #Technology #inclinometer #tiltmeters #datamanagement #monitoring #groundinvestigation #groundengineering #assetmonitoring #datalogging #instrumentation #horizontaldisplacement #digitalinclinometer #inclinometersensor #landslidemonitoring #geotechnicalinstruments #geologicalinstrument #inclinometermonitoring

Talk to us about our wireless monitoring solutions… Geotechnical Observations use wireless monitoring systems to transmit data, adapting to site constrains and the client preferences in terms of which equipment brand to use. Wireless systems are ideal for the kind of projects that Geotechnical Observations specialise in. Data from our flushable piezometers, vibrating wire piezometers, ShapeArrays and tilt sensors can be collected and transmitted to our Geodaisy® web-platform for analysis and interpretation. They tend to reduce cost on medium to long term projects, decrease risk of having boots on site and improve reaction time without having to invest in displacements.
