[New Blog] Leveraging the power of upfront information in property sales. 💡 Upfront information as a concept is not new. But simply obtaining information about the #property at the point of listing will have little or no benefit. The key to making significant improvements in transaction speed and certainty is in how the information is processed. Read our blog to find out how #conveyancers can benefit from upfront information > https://hubs.la/Q026LbY_0 #UpfrontInformation #conveyancing

Fab to see the support for upfront info - we agree instructing the seller's conveyancer on day one is key! Does this use the Open Property Data Association open data standards and can the information be shared digitally across the other transaction parties who are using other platforms?

There appears to be a fog surrounding property transaction reform. 1 MaterIal Information Parts B and C will change the property transaction process. Focus should be upon how those requirements can be accommodated by estate agents, Solicitors and brokers. 2 HMLR and others need to consider how they can assist in delivering Parts B and C 3 a major change will be estate agents recognising that encouraging the seller to instruct a solicitor before marketing the property will greatly reduce failed transactions and massively improve timescales 4 encouraging buyers to use a conveyancing factory for the sake of a referral fee isn’t acting in the seller’s best interests and estate agents who do this really do need to think about the reputational issues and the potential legal repercussions 5 Let’s concentrate on making Material Information lead the necessary reform for the benefit of consumers and other actors
