Job Title: QA/Software Tester Company: O Clock Software Private Limited Experience: 2.5 to 3 Years Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications. Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues across different platforms and environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, project managers) to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with testing activities. Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing as needed. Track, document, and report bugs and issues using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Verify and validate bug fixes by re-running testing procedures. Identify test data requirements and prepare test data accordingly. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends. Participate in code reviews and provide insights to improve product quality. Ensure proper documentation of testing activities and deliverables. Qualifications: 2.5 to 3 years of professional experience in QA or Software Testing. Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle). Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, LoadRunner). Hands-on experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Experience in testing web and mobile applications across different platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail with the ability to identify and document defects. Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
