To them, I would say: Patriotism isn't measured by how often do you showcase it but by how deeply you live it. Our Constitution, through the Fundamental Duties (Article 51A), reminds us to respect the national flag, cherish our cultural heritage, and uphold the values of our nation. Unfurling the flag is not just a gesture—it’s a reaffirmation of my commitment to these duties. While my flag flies high today, these principles guide my life throughout the year. National Liberation Day of Korea 🇰🇷🌸 This day marks the liberation of Korea from thirty-five years of Japanese colonial rule, celebrated on August 15th, 1945. 🎉 Following Korea's liberation, the United States military government in Korea abolished the national holidays established by the Japanese in October 1945 and introduced new public festivals and holidays. On the third anniversary of liberation, South Korea declared its own government in 1948. Consequently, in May of the following year, "August 15th, National Independence Day" was enacted as a national commemorative day. However, it was renamed National Liberation Day in October 1949. This holiday commemorates the independence fighters who fought and died for the country and celebrates the liberation of the Korean people. After seventy years of division, this day now also serves as a time to pray for the unification of the Korean Peninsula and peace in East Asia. This is what needed in the world - #Palestine and #Israel came together for a rare peace march. They believe that violence for violence destroy humanity. There has been enough deaths and revenge - its time for #Peace treaty to work and ensure that there will be no fight forever. In todays conflicting world - we also need peace army not only the war army. Similar #Ukraine, #Russia war is going on for 3 years. No use of pulling it so hard. Have a peace treaty and come out of it. Dozens of country are seeing their benefit in war. They may want this war to be forever. There should be attempt for peace. Its responsibility of United Nation to have a peace army, team of mediators if they really want world peace. I think Indian spiritual people should have place in leadership role of UN.
