A lot of people expressed interest in the astonishing work that is being done at #QiddiyaCity, and couldn't fathom that there are *multiple* projects more than 10X the $40B price tag of that one location, going on all at once.
Here is a video exploring the new #themepark. It is 2.5X the size of #DisneyWorld in Orlando, FL (or 2X the size of Washington, D.C.), with 60K buildings, room for 160K people, and more than 275 rides set for its premiere.
It will have the longest roller coaster in the world, at 4 km in length, with a top-speed of an unheard of 250 km/h. Did I mention there will be a #Formula1 grade racing track? How about the world class golf course designed by #JackNicklaus?
Then there is the 45K seat capacity stadium, that will be the world's first such "fully-integrated" space, nestled between the Tuwaiq Mountains. It's a post-modern facility where the roof fully retracts, the floor can change into a different game configuration, and nearly every surface is a display screen. #Esports have never had a facility like this before, neither has any audience.
There are many more record-breaking feats for this project alone, and if you are part of #iappa or #themedentertainmentassociation, these (and the nearly dozen others like it there) are likely already on your radar as part of #vision2030.
Before and after its completion, I expect a lot more spaces to mimic the efforts of the MBS Stadium interior. For #animators and #VFXartists, I see this is a new kind of #storytelling, a new kind of canvas, and an exemplar of the shift blurring the edges between 2D, 3D, and stereoscopic #mixedreality spaces (that would, naturally, integrate with visual wearables -- before/after IRL events, such as concerts).
The future of what #phygital (still dislike the term, but it means what it means) will *be*, will very likely start there.
For everyone else waking up to the *trillions* of dollars being spent in the region, it's not only mind-boggling, but it begs the question: what the hell are we doing lately?
A decade ago, one of Miami Worldcenter’s master developers, Nitin Motwani, was having clients put on VR goggles in the middle of a 27-acre sea of parking lots to sell the project’s vision. Today, an Apple store is rising where they once stood.
I dove into the nearly two decades of work it’s taken to successfully develop the largest transit-oriented development in the Southeast. The story is a lesson in seizing opportunities and knowing when to pivot.

Today I want to invite you to explore the fascinating history of the first Lego amusement park, a place where brick-fabrication is intertwined with the thrill of adventure.
It all started with Ole Kirk Christiansen’s vision, founder of Lego, who dreamed of creating a space where children (and adults) could immerse themselves in the magic of his colorful building blocks.
This idea was born due to clients, partners, friends and people from all over the world were often curious to know the place where beautiful ideas based on cubes were manufactured.
In 1968, this dream came true with the opening of the first Lego amusement park in Billund, Denmark.
Unlike conventional parks, this park was literally built out of Lego blocks. From monumental structures to interactive attractions, every corner of the park reflects the essence of the brand: creative construction and unlimited fun.
Park visitors embark on unique and exciting adventures. From themed rides to free construction zones.
The manufacturing of parts was also integrated into the park experience. Visitors can observe up close how the blocks are created. This unique connection to production added an additional level of appreciation for the brand and its dedication to quality.
The brand proved that fun and creativity could merge with manufacturing, creating a unique experience that has left a long lasting mark on theme park history.
In conclusion, the first Lego amusement park was not just a place to play, but a tangible expression of the brand's spirit. In this magical place, manufacturing and fun came together to inspire generations of builders, engineers and dreamers.
Would you like to apply this to your own brand? Then start including fun in your processes.

From caves to mud huts to wooden houses, the evolution of dwelling spaces has come a long way. There were times when toilets and bathrooms were even centralized, serving groups of families collectively
No longer confined to the traditional layout of a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and restroom, the room of the future breaks boundaries. Consider the pre-COVID era home office or virtual entertainment spaces, such as golf simulators or augmented reality games. Imagine soundproof rooms catering to podcast or YouTube production needs. The future of rooms is diverse and tailored to various modern lifestyles.
