Pipe welding — simplified. Welding around pipes is physically daunting for welders. The larger the diameter, the more challenging and strenuous the process. Orbital welding eliminates the stress. The automated approach makes it easier than ever to maintain a consistent, reliable, and safe pipe welding operation. ➡️ Learn more about AMI’s TIG welding solutions: https://ow.ly/s6FE50UvlnP

"He welds an itsy bitsy, teeny weenie, yellow poka dot weld coupon." Remember your small bore test has a 1" OD diameter limit. If welding on pipe diameters less your ticket/ PQR could be an issue to ask about with your fabrication shop Qc before welding. Great to see shops paying attention to drawings and be proactive in keeping welders qualified.

What is WPS ( Welding Procedure Specification)? This guide explains how to make safe and reliable welds in pressure systems, like pipes and boilers. It covers some items you need to know, from setting clear goals at the start to checking welds for any problems. By following these steps, you may ensure that your pressure systems are strong and long-lasting. Note : The guide was not written by me, but rather has been reviewed and studied to gain a better understanding of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and their crucial role in ensuring safe and dependable welds in pressure systems.
