"anchor-scope" is out in Chromium 131, and unlocks a lot of use cases. Here's an explainer from James Stuckey Weber in less than a minute. (Oh, and you can use it now with OddBird's Anchor Positioning Polyfill). https://lnkd.in/gbXSYxMU

Fusing Forensics is a live online class designed to help you recognize, understand, and control the forces and phenomena that happen when fusing Bullseye glass. This class will help you diagnose mysterious outcomes in your studio work. But it will also help you design, explore, and create with greater command of your glass. #CMSpaper 1327 is a tour-de-force that studies the kinematic behavior of the Higgs boson at high momentum in one of the very difficult signatures: the decay to b quarks, and the production modes where only a Higgs boson is made, not together with a top quark or Z boson. We kind-of-almost-see it (2.7 sigma), but that limited data is already good enough to measure the production of speedy Higgs bosons (assuming that 2.7 sigma excess is real, yea I know...), which is very important for interpretations of Higgs interactions

Here for #UnderTheMicroscopeMonday 🔎🔬 we look at an #EBSD phase map of a deformed oxide gabbro rock sample. This image shows us the complex distribution of phases along the edge of an oxide-rich shear zone in a gabbro from the lower ocean crust. In particular, it highlights the alteration of clinopyroxene (dark blue) into amphibole (yellow), often associated with microfractures within the clinopyroxene and adjacent plagioclase feldspar (red). 🔬 Detector used: Symmetry | https://okt.to/oxEzSM 💻 Software used: AZtecCrystal | https://okt.to/j7nUZF Learn more 👉 https://okt.to/faMxrb

For those new to STAAD Pro, understanding how to assign parameters like LX, LY, UNT, and UNB can seem confusing. To make this easier, I’ve put together a simple presentation to clarify these concepts. LX & LY: Define the effective length of members along the X and Y axes, considering bracing and support conditions. UNT & UNB: These parameters represent the unbraced lengths of the top and bottom flanges, crucial for controlling lateral-torsional buckling. In my post, I like to share my view for STAAD Parameter of LY, LZ, UNB and UNT & aim to explain these parameters as clearly as possible, based on practical scenarios. I hope it will help other's.

Day 58 of GFG 160 Challenge 🚀 💡 Day 58 Problem: Longest Substring with Distinct Characters 🧠 Approach: 1️⃣ Sliding Window + Hash Map: Use a two-pointer technique (left and right pointers) to maintain the current substring window. If it exists and its last occurrence is within the current window, move the left pointer to the right of this occurrence. Update the Maximum Length: At each step, calculate the length of the current window (right - left + 1) and update the maximum length if needed. solution https://lnkd.in/g79qajJQ
