In #Metalprogetti, the future is green 🌿 We are pleased to announce that, as of January 3, our new 150KW photovoltaic system is officially connected and operational! In combination with the existing system, we are now able to cover over 70% of our energy needs, ensuring a more sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly production. This milestone was made possible thanks to the support of the Solar Attack program promoted by the Umbria Region, which allowed us to invest in a responsible solution for our future 🌍 Discover how we are building a better tomorrow!

Since our foundation, we have installed solar equivalent to the annual electricity use of ⚡️ 1,4 million ⚡️ homes. And we won’t stop here.    This is one of many things we are proud of in the Sustainability report for 2023. Other highlights include:   🛠️ Inauguration of two new Training Centers, in Stockholm and Cologne, to address the lack of solar installers in Europe.   🦺 Over 1,800 safety walks, making sure that our installations live up to our high safety standards.    ⚡️ New services such as Virtual Power Plants that enable a fully renewable Europe.  🌱 Building our first agrivoltaic park, showing how crops and solar can be effectively combined.    ♻️ Initiating CircSolar to find a circular solution for solar panels. The future of low-carbon heating is here with GreenHeatLife! 🌍✨ In December 2024, we officially launched GreenHeatLife at Gradyent’s office in Rotterdam. This exciting project brings together key partners from across Europe to modernise district heating systems and drive the energy transition forward. During the kick-off meeting, consortium members including: Gradyent (Netherlands, Coordinator) Euroheat & Power (Belgium) E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions (Germany) SEI SERVIZI ENERGETICI INTEGRATI S.R.L. (Italy) AB „Klaipėdos energija“ (Lithuania) Ennatuurlijk B.V. (Netherlands) Umeå Energi AB (Sweden) ...gathered to discuss strategies for implementing this transformative project and taking the first steps toward revolutionising heating systems across Europe. 🌱💡 Together, we’re leveraging cutting-edge Digital Twin technology to optimise energy efficiency, reduce fossil fuel dependency, and accelerate the integration of renewable energy sources. 🌞⚡ Our key objectives include: ✅ Collecting and validating data to create accurate Digital Twins. ✅ Identifying decarbonisation pathways to reduce GHG emissions. ✅ Developing sustainable investment plans for district heating. ✅ Sharing knowledge through workshops and influencing EU policy.
