On average, families spend about $900 per season on each child participating in youth sport programs. For some active children, that can be as much as $3,600 a year for a parent. For some parents, that is $3,600 a year per child! Now imagine your child wanting to be active and wanting to be part of a team and you cannot afford it because of the price? Right now, costs are high and the economy is forcing everyone to be a bit more frugal. It happens. This Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser initiative has a collateral effect in which donating and supporting can offset some of the costs organizations have to charge parents & participants prior to the season starting. Therefore, we can help and promote more kids on the field and on a team to play, participate and remain active rather than remaining at home, inactive and most likely overusing technology for entertainment and distraction. The goal is to raise $10,000 by April 1st 2025, to purchase about 750 Soccer Balls (ranging from size 3, size 4 and size 5), distribute 10-15 new soccer balls and soccer bag to each program by Friday, April 31st 2025, and support a total of 50-75 local & underfunded soccer programs. The idea here is to pull a community together to do more with less and to prove that, together, we can all accomplish more. We seek to bring a blinding light to the power of a UNITED effort and our mission in UNITING the communities, within #NewJerseysOwn, through soccer. If your soccer program or organization can benefit from the Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser simply, fill out the Application Form here (we made it simple & easy): https://lnkd.in/e4-XHfxd You will be directed to a google form to fill out the information and submit the application. Thank you all for your consideration & support. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/e4-XHfxd Together, UNITED. #United #Support #Apply #Donate #Team

Living up to our reputation of doing things the hard way 😅⚽ Absolutely love the business end of the season, the rollercoaster of emotions that we have to go through, the not knowing what could be, the excitement and tension! Is this comparable to starting a new job? 🤷♂️ There are several emotions that we can face when starting a new job or considering making the move - excitement, anticipation, nervousness & apprehension to name a few. Why am I comparing this? 🤔 Well... Consider working with a specialist recruiter, who puts the time and effort to meet with you, get to know you and really understand your values, preferences and career goals... By doing so, you start to have the fundamental discussions that can help overcome certain emotions and provide you with a front row seat to being matched with the most relevant job roles / companies that you can be excited about! Are you excited to start searching for your next step? Or are you holding back due to nerves of the unknown? Lets overcome emotions! Drop me a message and lets start to map out your approach to new adventures! 🤝 Finally, as excited as I am about the Wanderers having just one more game to potentially climb back up to the Championship.. I would be lying if I wasn't a little sad that the Play-Off Final lands on my Wedding day 🤦♂️🙃 ..Is it possible to perform a ceremony at Wembley? 🤣 #Careergoals #Careergrowth #Jobsearch #emotionsoffootball
Next stop: Wembley 🤍 #bwfc

In college, we used to participate in a long-distance relay race. Each team consisted of four players. One would start the run and, after covering a certain distance, hand over the baton to the next player. The team that finished first would win the match. In life, I often find a resemblance between this game and some of my personal realizations. Families, generation after generation, run like a team where one member hands over the overall progress and reputation to the young bloods. If one generation becomes careless, they not only ruin themselves but also the overall accomplishments, hard work, and sacrifices of a group of people. That’s why it’s our duty to understand the common goals of our ancestors, value their sacrifices, and continue the legacy if it’s for a greater cause. By growing ourselves in numerous ways, we can develop a mindset that can differentiate right and wrong. We can see whether we need to bring any corrections or add anything where a former member failed to focus on. Overall, the result should be positive. We should feel proud at the end of the race and be satisfied that we tried our level best and did what we had to do. As we pass the baton to the next generation, do we wish to hold our heads high with pride, or hang them low in regret? #Legacy #PersonalGrowth #RelayRace Image from: https://lnkd.in/e--4Jg8m
