The Gemini solar-plus-storage project in Nevada, developed by Primergy Solar and Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, is now operational. Located near Las Vegas, it features 1.8 million solar panels generating up to 690 MW and 380 MW of battery storage (1,400 MWh) using a DC-coupled configuration for enhanced efficiency. The project, financed with $1.9 billion in debt and tax equity, includes innovative ecosystem management and reduced land impact. It created about 1,300 jobs and contributed $463 million to Nevada's economy. The plant uses advanced Maxeon Solar Technologies US solar modules and is expected to meet 10% of Nevada's peak energy needs under a 25-year agreement with NV Energy. https://lnkd.in/gUsBXqKz #SolarEnergy #Nevada #OdinGlobal

👉RIC Energy's projects are growing and consolidating across the four continents where it has a presence. 🌍 This week, we announce, with extensive media coverage on both sides of the Atlantic, the sale of three solar plants in the United States, specifically in the state of New York, to Luminace, a subsidiary of the Brookfield fund. 🌞 It is expected that the facilities will provide clean energy to more than 5,000 households participating in the Community Solar programs of that state, where RIC Energy establishes itself as one of the largest developers, with over 600 MW out of a total of 2,000 MW it is developing in the North American country. 💡 Through this system, unfamiliar in Europe, individuals subscribe to a portion of the electricity generated by a photovoltaic project, resulting in a reduction in their electricity bill without the need to install panels on their own property. 🏡 #SustainableEnergy #EnergyInnovation

🎉News!!! #SUUN:NASDAQ / #SUNN:NASDAQ NEWS!!!🎉 ✅Solarbank Signs Lease For 3.2 MW Solar Project In N.Y.✅ 🎯Expected to operate as a community solar site, selling credits to subscribers. 🎯Over 370 homes expected to be provided with green energy once operational. 🎯Eligible to participate in the NYSUN program to receive NYSERDA incentives. ✅TORONTO, May 6, 2024 /CNW/ - SolarBank Corporation (Nasdaq: SUUN) (Cboe CA: SUNN) (FSE: GY2) ("SolarBank" or the "Company") announces that it has executed a lease agreement on a 29.6 acre site in Black Creek, New York. SolarBank intends to develop a 3.2 MW DC ground-mount solar power project on the site (the "Project"). The Project is expected to be eligible for incentives under the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority ("NYSERDA") NY-Sun Program. ✅The Company has submitted its initial interconnection request for the Project and is awaiting the results of that process. Following receipt of interconnection approval, the Company will work to complete the permitting process and secure the necessary financing for the construction of the Project. ✅Once completed, the Project will be operated as a community solar project. Community solar is a group of solar panels with access to the local electricity grid. Once the panels are turned on and generating electricity, clean energy from the site feeds into the local power grid. Depending on the size and number of panels the project has, dozens or even hundreds of renters and homeowners can save money from the electricity that is generated by the project. ✅By subscribing to a project, a homeowner earns credits on their electric bill every month from their portion of the solar that's generated by the project, accessing the benefits of solar without installing panels on their home.......
