📈 A study by the World Health Organization found that 95% of all maternal deaths in 2020 occurred in low and lower-middle income countries, and most of those deaths were preventable. 🔺 Due to a lack of access to adequate information and healthcare services, the number of maternal deaths in developing nations is significantly higher than in other parts of the world. 🩺 At WAJAMAMA Community Health, capacity building for Nurse-Midwives is one of our fundamental pillars and our vision for scale.
