70% of Oesophageal Cancer patients have symptoms for over 3 months before seeing their GP. it is vital that we, as a community, continue to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Oesophageal Cancer: - Difficulty Swallowing - Acid Indigestion or Heartburn that doesn’t go away - Hoarseness that persists — and isn’t due to a cold - Coughing, Burping, Belching or Hiccups that don’t subside - Progressive and unplanned Weight Loss Early detection is key.
