Happy Father's day Dad. Although he left us a few years back. It's impossible for me to go through a Father's Day without sheading a tear and fondly remembering the greatest Father that I believe has ever graced this world. He had four Children, Debbie, Kim, Bill and Myself Tom. He brought us into this world and made us the people we are today. He ( along with my Mother Marlene) taught us to walk, to talk, to read, to write, to have fun, to camp, to fish, to hunt, to waterski, to snow ski, to ice-skate, to play football, to play baseball, to ride bicycles, to fly kites, to ride minibikes, to build tree forts, to swim to become mature adults, to raise families of our own and how to be fair, reasonable and good people to everyone we met. My Father was a Councilman, a Mayor, a Jaycee, a corporate President and a wonderful Husband and best friend to my Mother. He was a pillar of the community, and his accomplishment will forever make everything he did for those around him and for generations to come far better than they would ever be without his hard work and efforts. So, on this Father's Day 2004 I hope he is able to somehow see this post and feel the internal love we all have for him and hear us all say, Happy Father's Day William B Hempel, we love you, Dad !!
